The Serlo Consort has joined forces twice this season already with external orchestras. The ‘Messiah’ on Good Friday was with the young, professional orchestra - The St. Paul’s Sinfonia (conducted by Andrew Morley), and the Mozart/Haydn programme at St. James’, Piccadilly was with - The Camerata of London. We are fully in favour of musical ensembles joining together to create new ideas/have a fresh approach to performing repertoire. To this end, we are already joing with The St. Paul’s Sinfonia again on Good Friday 2011 to perform the wonderful ‘St. John Passion’ by J. S. Bach!
Serlo enjoys joining forces!
